Meet Sami

WHY VIDEO?

I grew up being followed around by my mom and her giant video camcorder. She recorded everything from my sisters and I opening presents on Christmas morning, family get-togethers, tee-ball games, and school recitals. When she passed away in 2014, I found myself watching and rewatching the videos she recorded. I'm so thankful to have a living memory of my childhood and to have her face and voice forever captured on video.

The feeling of nostalgia drives what I do. I'm passionate about capturing emotions and candid moments in an authentic and creative way to showcase your unique love story.

Hi! I'm Sami and I'm the owner of Samantha Marie Videography. I'm passionate about capturing emotions and candid moments in an authentic and creative way. My goal as a wedding filmmaker is to tell your story through an unforgettable and beautiful film that you can cherish forever.

I love showcasing my creativity, connecting with like-minded people, and telling stories through film and sound. When I'm not producing films, you can find me traveling with my fiancé, hanging out with our dog Scout, or binge-watching Harry Potter and crime dramas. I'm a Hufflepuff, Enneagram 3, and an ISFJ-A (Defender).

I'm passionate about red wine, anything and everything sweet, and serving my wedding couples.

Zach and I met at a hole-in-the-wall bar in my college town on the coldest night of the year. Totally unexpected, straight out of a movie. We got engaged a year later. We have so much fun together and always push each other to be better.
